The Language Center, located in Science Center B.06, supports modern and ancient language courses taught in the Faculty of Arts & Sciences.
In addition to hosting practice opportunities for language learning, we offer pedagogical training and support for language instructors. The Language Center does not offer language instruction.

Room Reservations
Rooms may be reserved for language or language-related courses in the FAS by course heads or by TFs/staff assistants acting on behalf of a course head.
The Language Exchange
The Language Exchange Program provides members of the Harvard community the possibility of practicing informal conversation with a partner who speaks their target language. Harvard community members, including spouses and partners of faculty, staff, students, and visiting scholars, as well as alumni and retired faculty and staff, are eligible to participate.

*The Language Center is open through Reading Period each semester, but we will be closed during Exam Period and academic recesses. We will have variable operating hours during the summer term. Please email us before visiting.
